...amid the joe pye weed and the brilliant st john's wort that turned into a "bonsai" tree and lived for years while the garden changed around it - bloom the water iris - i'm thinking that if i have remembered my latin correctly... that iris is both plural and singular - maybe even, "at the same time..."
