tonight we celebrated david's birthday - late. he insisted i take a picture of the clouds for the photo of the day. luckily... the scenic parking lot is included!
i caught this little bug sunning itself on a brick in my garden yesterday - when i came in close for the shot it took off! i took my finger off of the shutter while turning away to go about my business and the camera grabbed this picture of the butterfly in flight! i love this!
i want it. i can not have it. i do not want it. it is so attractive. i am repulsed by it. it respects my authority. it mocks everything i stand for. i hate it. i need it.
thanks to global warming... or climate change.... or whatever you want to call what's happening to our earth due to greedy bullies... this tri-coloured sage reappeared this spring! i discovered it the other day whilst weeding!
"...we are stardust we are golden and we've got to get ourselves back to the garden..."
-joni mitchell
...this is going to change everything.... my new meditation spot is the weeding field. i am obliterating the astor - as beautiful as it is in the fall with it's purple flowers - it has taken over and hidden parts of the garden i haven't seen in years. it. must. go.
