stranger than paradise

this little fella caught my eye, yesterday, at the chicago botanic gardens. i had the good fortune to be in their "butterflies and blooms" exhibition. this is the first photo that i've posted on this blog that has not come from my iphone. i had my canon 7d with me and felt that i needed to bond a bit with it - for a change.
